We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Engineer to bolster our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in information security, risk management, and technical troubleshooting. You will be pivotal in safeguarding our digital infrastructure against cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve overall security posture of the organization.
• Analyze potential risks to ensure proactive mitigation.
• Engage with third-party vendors for security assessments.
• Develop strategic plans for long-term security improvements.
• Facilitate security audits and manage remediation efforts.
• Create security reports to communicate with stakeholders.
• Advocate and implement security awareness campaigns company-wide.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field
• Master's degree in Information Systems is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles

Technical Skills

• Penetration Testing

Certifications

• CISM
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications in ethical hacking: Preferred certifications in ethical hacking methodologies.
