Exciting opportunity for an Aerospace Engineer in Cape Town! You'll be responsible for designing and testing aircraft components and systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet performance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical aspects of aircraft design projects.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on customer needs.
• Oversee the testing and evaluation of aircraft systems.
• Refine specifications based on test results and feedback.
• Develop and maintain effective project schedules.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies for compliance issues.
• Conduct risk assessments for engineering projects.
• Mentor and train interns or junior engineers in best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Master's degree highly advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace design and analysis

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• CFD Software

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• Aerospace Engineer Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with MATLAB and Simulink: Proficient in using MATLAB and Simulink for simulations.
• Knowledge of aerospace regulations: Understanding of aviation regulations and compliance requirements.
