Product Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the product lifecycle, from conception to launch, ensuring that our product meets the needs of our customers effectively. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product strategies that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage the product lifecycle from concept through to launch.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs and competitive analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing to ensure alignment on product vision.
• Create and maintain product roadmaps, prioritizing features based on business value.
• Gather and analyze feedback from customers to refine product features.
• Ensure timely delivery of product milestones, managing timelines and deliverables.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related discipline
• Master's degree in Business Administration preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in product marketing or management

Technical Skills

• Data Analysis Tools
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Analytical Thinking

Certifications

• Certified Product Marketing Manager (CPMM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Agile methodologies: Solid understanding and experience in Agile project management methods.
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles: Knowledge of best practices in user experience and interface design.
