UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We're searching for a creative and skilled UX/UI Designer to join our Durban team. In this role, you will drive the design process from concept to execution, ensuring our digital products deliver an engaging user experience. The ideal candidate will have a keen sense of aesthetics, a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept through execution, ensuring user-centered outcomes.
• Document design decisions and rationales for future reference and iteration.
• Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support in their development.
• Work on multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify industry trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure cohesive branding throughout the user journey.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio
