Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery. You will be responsible for conducting maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing improvements to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance on all production equipment.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical failures efficiently.
• Work closely with production staff to ensure equipment availability.
• Participate in safety audits and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and apprentices.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• Experience with CNC machinery is a plus
