We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Engineer to join our vibrant team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our telecommunications systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across our networks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate telecommunications and data systems.
• Oversee installation and configuration of telecommunications equipment.
• Respond promptly to network outages and technical issues.
• Implement network security measures to protect data integrity.
• Document all changes to network configurations and systems.
• Participate in the evaluation of project proposals and feasibility studies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Telecommunications is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a related engineering field
