Veterinary Surgeon

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare and possess strong diagnostic and surgical skills. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of animal health issues while providing compassionate support to pet owners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular health check-ups and wellness exams.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and interns.
• Develop strong relationships with clients for ongoing care and health monitoring.
• Stay updated on advances in veterinary medicine and practices.
• Participate in continuous education and training opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent
• Specialisation in a veterinary field is preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in veterinary practice.
