UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will create impactful and user-friendly designs across various platforms. We’re looking for someone passionate about improving the user experience through design and who enjoys collaborating with developers and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
• Develop user personas and journey maps to drive design decisions.
• Analyze user feedback and metrics to improve existing interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive user experience.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and design critiques.
• Participate in team workshops to ideate and innovate design solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
• Relevant design certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of UX/UI design experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• HTML/CSS

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Creative thinking

Certifications

• UX Design Certificate
• Adobe Certified Expert (ACE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in animation and motion design: Ability to create animated UI elements to enhance user engagement.
• Familiarity with accessibility guidelines: Understanding of accessibility principles to ensure designs are inclusive.
