Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide exceptional IT support and administration in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, customer service, and system management. This role requires effective communication skills and a passion for assisting clients with their IT needs.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to service requests in a timely manner and escalate when necessary.
  • Provide technical support for various operating systems and applications.
  • Configure and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct user training sessions for software and hardware.
  • Utilize ticketing systems for documentation and tracking.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and tools.
  • Support data backup and recovery processes.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in IT or related field
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role
