Job Description

We are in search of a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Durban. You will be responsible for safeguarding our systems and data from cyber threats, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and enforce security protocols and practices.
• Respond to detected security breaches in a timely manner.
• Perform risk assessments on new applications and systems.
• Analyze security logs and reports for anomalies.
• Lead security training initiatives within the organization.
• Liaise with law enforcement on cybercrime matters.
• Participate in security incident response exercises.
• Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity threats and solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field
• Relevant certifications are an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in the cybersecurity field
