UX Designer

Job Description

Looking for a skilled UX Designer to create engaging and accessible designs in our Durban office. You'll collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure that user feedback is incorporated into our design processes. Help us create seamless user journeys!

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead design projects from concept through execution.
• Analyze user behavior and make data-driven design decisions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation.
• Facilitate design reviews and present concepts to stakeholders.
• Optimize existing designs for improved user engagement.
• Lead brainstorming sessions to generate new design ideas.
• Use design tools and software to create visually appealing interfaces.
• Ensure all designs align with the brand’s vision and values.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design or related field
• Master's degree in Design is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in user-centered design

Technical Skills

• Prototyping tools
• Usability Testing

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Team Player

Certifications

• Certified Interaction Designer (CID)
• Google UX Design Professional Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of accessibility standards: Understanding of WCAG guidelines to create accessible designs.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working within Agile teams for rapid iterations.
