Job Description

The Veneer Grader will be responsible for inspecting and grading raw veneer sheets to ensure they meet quality standards before processing. This role is crucial in maintaining product quality and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and document the condition of veneer sheets during inspections.
• Adhere to company policies regarding quality control.
• Coordinate with machine operators to manage workflow.
• Identify trends in veneer quality and provide feedback for improvement.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained for optimal performance.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in veneer grading or related field

Experience

• Experience with different wood species is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Manual dexterity
• Knowledge of woodworking machinery

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
