Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Psychologist to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to address a range of mental health issues, providing therapy and support to promote emotional wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Assess clients' mental health and develop personalized treatment strategies.
  • Provide ongoing therapy while measuring progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Engage in regular consultations with healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Advocate for mental health awareness in the community.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities appropriate for different client needs.
  • Collaborate with social services when necessary to deliver comprehensive support.
  • Supervise interns or trainees, providing guidance and mentorship.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology or related field
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a practicing psychologist
