We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Consultant to join our Johannesburg office. This role requires expertise in environmental regulations, project management, and sustainable practices. You'll be responsible for assessing environmental impacts and providing strategic recommendations to clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental impact assessments for various projects.
• Advise clients on best practices for environmental management.
• Develop comprehensive reports on findings and recommendations.
• Engage with local communities and stakeholders regarding projects.
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and environmental plans.
• Support clients in achieving environmental certifications.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and environmental trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting

Technical Skills

• Environmental Policy Analysis

Certifications

• Environmental Management System (EMS) Certification
• LEED Green Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
