Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cybersecurity Consultant to enhance our cybersecurity measures in Port Elizabeth. You will be instrumental in conducting risk assessments and developing strategies to defend against cyber threats, ensuring our clients' data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Research the latest cybersecurity threats and develop proactive strategies.
• Manage relationships with external security vendors and service providers.
• Document security incidents and follow up with corrective action.
• Assist in the development of a business continuity plan.
• Provide regular updates and reports to management on security issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting

• Malware Analysis
• Firewall Configuration

• Team Leadership

Certifications

• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Penetration Testing: Experience in penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of Cloud Security: Knowledge of securing cloud infrastructures and services.
