Network Engineer

Job Description

As a Network Engineer in our Pretoria office, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining robust network infrastructures. You will work closely with IT support and administration teams to implement new solutions, enhance performance, and keep our systems secure.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain secure and reliable network architectures.
• Conduct network assessments and recommend improvements.
• Train junior staff on network best practices and protocols.
• Engage with external vendors for procurement and service support.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and procedures.
• Perform routine audits of network systems and equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
• Specialized certifications in networking (e.g., CCNP) will be beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a network support role
