Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret psychological tests and assessments.
• Design individualized therapy programs based on client needs.
• Facilitate workshops and support groups for specific mental health challenges.
• Document and report client progress in line with organizational policies.
• Assist in the development of mental health resources and programs.
• Network with other professionals in the field to enhance service delivery.
• Promote a supportive and understanding environment for clients.
• Participate in case consultations and peer reviews.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
• Doctorate preferred but not mandatory

Experience

• 2+ years of clinical experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Group Therapy Facilitation

Soft Skills

• Crisis Management
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certificate in Trauma-Informed Care
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Proficient

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Effective in communicating with diverse populations.
• Experience in adolescent therapy: Specialization in addressing the mental health needs of adolescents.
