Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We're seeking an Environmental Engineer in Cape Town to develop and implement sustainable projects that address environmental challenges. This role requires expertise in environmental policies, assessment, and innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessments and audits for various projects.
• Develop and implement strategies for reducing environmental footprints.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate environmental considerations into designs.
• Monitor project sites for adherence to environmental regulations.
• Educate team members and clients about environmental sustainability.
• Prepare proposals for funding and grants related to environmental initiatives.
• Analyze data and present findings at stakeholder meetings.
• Support the development of policies aimed at environmental protection.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of progressive experience in environmental projects
