Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest quality standards before they are released to our customers. This role involves developing test plans, executing test cases, and collaborating closely with the development team to identify software defects.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test automation scripts.
• Develop performance tests to evaluate system scalability.
• Work closely with product management to understand requirements.
• Assist in maintaining testing environments.
• Provide feedback on product usability and performance.
• Create and maintain test documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance

Technical Skills

• Manual Testing
• Automation Tools (Selenium)

Certifications

• ISTQB Certified Tester
• Certified Software QA Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Agile environments: Familiarity with Agile practices and methodologies.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter): Experience using JMeter for performance testing.
