Job Description

A fantastic opportunity awaits for a UI Designer in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will create innovative designs that improve user interaction and satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Develop visually appealing and effective UI designs that meet user needs.
• Collaborate with developers to implement design elements in a seamless way.
• Document design processes and guidelines for future projects.
• Engage in regular design reviews and user feedback sessions.
• Optimize layout, color schemes, and typography based on design best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in UI/UX Design or related field
• Master's degree in Design is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in UI/UX and product design

Technical Skills

• Prototyping Tools (InVision, Adobe XD)
• User Research Techniques

Soft Skills

• Creative Thinking
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Google UX Design Certificate
• UX Design Fundamentals Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluent in additional languages: Proficiency in languages such as Afrikaans or isiXhosa can be an advantage.
• Experience with UX research methodologies: Practical knowledge in user research to inform design decisions.
