Job Description

Our company is looking for an experienced Surfacer to join our team and help create high-quality surfaces for our products. You will work with a variety of materials and techniques, ensuring that all surfaces meet the required specifications.

Responsibilities

• Use advanced sanding techniques to prepare surfaces for finishing.
• Work with various materials including wood, metal, and plastic.
• Evaluate and select appropriate sanders and tools for each task.
• Implement finishing techniques to achieve desired texture and gloss.
• Collaborate closely with quality control to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and improvements.
• Manage time effectively to meet strict deadlines.
• Prepare reports on sanding activities and materials used.
• Stay updated on the latest techniques in surface finishing.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Certification in advanced surface technologies is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sanding and finishing roles

Languages

• English: Fluent
