Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Environmental Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in environmental science and engineering principles, with expertise in project management and sustainability assessments. You'll be working on projects aimed at improving environmental quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental impact assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Manage environmental projects from concept to completion.
• Monitor compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
• Engage with clients to identify environmental needs and priorities.
• Develop and implement training for staff on environmental best practices.
• Prepare and present reports to stakeholders on project progress and compliance.
• Conduct field investigations and research studies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental engineering or related field
