Systems Administrator

Job Description

In this critical role, the Systems Administrator will provide comprehensive IT support and administration. Duties include maintaining system security, user management, and data backup protocols while ensuring integration and effective usage of technology across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
• Implement and manage antivirus and security software.
• Support end-users in a multi-platform environment including Windows and Linux.
• Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and repairs.
• Conduct regular audits of systems and software.
• Assist in IT projects and upgrade schedules as required.
• Educate users on software features and security practices.
• Liaise with other IT teams to support cross-functional project requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT support and systems administration
