Job Description

We are seeking a qualified nurse to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
• Provide mentorship to junior nursing staff.
• Engage with patients to ensure they understand their treatment plans.
• Lead initiatives to improve patient care processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Registered Nurse (RN) license is essential

Experience

• 3+ years in a nursing capacity, preferably in a hospital setting

Technical Skills

• Wound Care Management
• Electronic Health Records (EHR)

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Leadership

Certifications

• Infection Control Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
