SOC Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated SOC Analyst to join our team. You will be key in detecting and responding to security threats, analyzing security incidents, and collaborating with various teams to enhance our security posture.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor for malicious activity and anomalies within the organization.
• Respond to alerts and perform detailed incident response analysis.
• Work on continuous improvement of existing security operations.
• Provide training and awareness to staff on cybersecurity best practices.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery and incident response plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably in a SOC

Technical Skills

• Threat Analysis
• Security Audits

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of forensic analysis tools: Familiarity with tools used for digital forensic investigations.
• Experience with ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance: Understanding of compliance frameworks related to data protection.
