Job Description

We are on the hunt for a Clinical Research Associate to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. This role will involve managing clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with study teams to drive successful outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of clinical research protocols and a passion for improving patient care through research.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning and execution of clinical trial activities.
  • Coordinate with various departments to facilitate research processes.
  • Maintain compliance with study protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Review and assess site performance, and conduct quality checks.
  • Document and report any adverse events and protocol deviations.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams on patient interaction and follow-up.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and support to junior staff.
  • Assist in the analysis and review of trial data.
  • Serve as a point of contact for sponsor inquiries and updates.
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained across all study-related documentation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Clinical Research or related field
  • Relevant certifications preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years in clinical study monitoring or related area
