Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist at our Johannesburg clinic, you will be tasked with providing quality psychological services, including therapy and in-depth assessments. Collaborate with other professionals to create a supportive therapeutic environment that fosters mental health recovery for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests and assessments.
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals and groups.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Monitor and review treatment effectiveness regularly.
  • Participate in case conferences and training sessions.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with current practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's or Doctorate in Psychology
  • Registered with the HPCSA as a Clinical Psychologist
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in clinical settings.
