We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing health programs, conducting epidemiological research, and promoting health in the community.
Responsibilities
Design health education campaigns targeting specific populations.
Collect and analyze epidemiological data.
Liaise with healthcare providers for effective service delivery.
Organize workshops and seminars to promote health awareness.
Support vaccination drives and other preventive health initiatives.
Review health policies and recommend improvements.
Conduct field surveys to assess health needs.
Facilitate community meetings to discuss health challenges.
Implement strategies to address health disparities in the community.
Foster partnerships with NGOs and government bodies for health programs.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Public Health or relevant field
Master's degree in Public Health or related field preferred
Experience
5+ years' experience in public health program management
