Job Description

Join our team as a Public Health Specialist, where you will play a vital role in developing and executing health programs that address community health needs. You will collaborate with local organizations and government agencies to enhance public health initiatives. Your expertise will drive positive changes in health behavior and policy within Pretoria.

Responsibilities

  • Identify public health priorities and areas for intervention within the community.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current health initiatives and recommend improvements.
  • Engage in policy advocacy to support public health initiatives at local and provincial levels.
  • Coordinate outreach efforts to increase community participation in health programs.
  • Monitor and report on program outcomes and impacts to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop promotional materials and communications to raise awareness of health programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
  • Master's degree in Epidemiology is an advantage
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in health program management or evaluation
