Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to enhance our operational efficiency. You will play a vital role in coordinating supply chain activities and driving improvements across the logistics network.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders within the supply chain.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and manage budgets associated with supply chain activities.
• Analyze supply chain data and reports to identify trends and make informed decisions.
• Create training programs for team members to enhance supply chain capabilities.
• Ensure product quality and compliance throughout the supply chain process.
• Facilitate problem-solving sessions to address supply chain challenges and improve performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management roles

Technical Skills

• Logistics Management
• Forecasting Techniques

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Analytical Thinking

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma
• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of sustainability practices: Understanding of sustainable supply chain practices and initiatives.
• Fluency in Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in Afrikaans can be advantageous.
