Job Description

As a Sampler, you will play a crucial role in our laboratory by collecting and preparing samples for testing. This position requires attention to detail and strict adherence to protocols to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples from designated locations following established procedures.
• Label collected samples with necessary information for easier retrieval.
• Assist in routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Document all observations and results during sample collection.
• Familiarize with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
• Conduct preliminary tests as needed to assess sample quality.
• Report any issues or anomalies with samples to the supervisory staff.
• Engage in continuous learning to improve laboratory practices.
• Support fellow team members in achieving laboratory objectives.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the lab.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Science or related field preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years experience in laboratory work.

Technical Skills

• Quality control experience
• Experience with LIMS

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented mindset
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in QA/QC procedures: Hands-on experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
• Health and Safety regulations knowledge: Understanding of health and safety standards in laboratory operations.
