Security Engineer

Job Description

As a Security Engineer, you will be at the forefront of protecting our organization’s IT infrastructure. This role entails assessing risks and developing robust security architectures. We're looking for someone with a proactive approach to managing security incidents and an in-depth understanding of the cybersecurity landscape.

Responsibilities

• Manage security incidents and coordinate response teams.
• Conduct audits and assessments on security controls and ensure compliance.
• Implement access controls and encryption standards for data protection.
• Prepare and present reports on cybersecurity issues to stakeholders.
• Work with IT teams to integrate security measures into the software development life cycle.
• Develop strategies for vulnerability management and remediation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles

• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent
