Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in various civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and public utilities. You will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and implementation of engineering work that impacts the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and review sessions with multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor the progress of construction projects and report findings.
• Utilize engineering software to perform structural analysis and design.
• Participate in community outreach efforts related to civil engineering projects.
• Assist in environmental assessments and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience

• Civil 3D
• Geotechnical Engineering

• Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (PrEng)
• Certificate in Project Management

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
