Drop Wire Operator

Job Description

The Drop Wire Operator will be responsible for installing and maintaining drop wires within a telecommunications network. This role requires experience with both copper and fiber optic cables and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Training in network installation or telecommunications is an advantage

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the telecommunications sector.

Technical Skills

• Experience with fiber optic cables
• Hands-on cable installation skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience handling heavy equipment: Familiarity with tools like bucket trucks.
