Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Pretoria team. The ideal candidate will have experience in design, analysis, and management of civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that our infrastructure projects are completed on time and within budget, while adhering to all regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple civil engineering projects simultaneously.
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental standards.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Review contractor proposals and work to ensure quality outputs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing bids and proposals for new projects.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Experience

• 7+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering projects

• Civil 3D
• Risk Management

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Green Building Council of South Africa certification
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with BIM technology: Ability to work with Building Information Modeling tools.
• Knowledge of infrastructure project finance: Familiarity with financial considerations in civil engineering projects.
