Hose Inspector

Job Description

As a Hose Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. You will be responsible for inspecting hoses for defects, testing their strength and pressure, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Assist with the development of quality control protocols.
• Conduct audits of the products and processes as necessary.
• Foster communication with all departments to maintain product quality.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Certification in Hose Inspection and Testing

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hose inspection and testing

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of industry-specific safety regulations
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems

Soft Skills

• Excellent record-keeping skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in quality control environments: Previous work in quality assurance roles within manufacturing.
• Knowledge of equipment calibration: Understanding of maintaining and calibrating testing equipment.
