As a General Practitioner, you'll play a crucial role in our healthcare team based in Port Elizabeth. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, providing preventive care, and addressing acute and chronic conditions. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat various medical conditions in patients of all ages.
• Advocate for patient welfare and provide follow-up care.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and ethical medical practices.
• Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers for comprehensive care.
• Contribute to the development of clinic policies and procedures.
• Address patient concerns and provide emotional support.
• Conduct health screenings and preventive checks.
• Provide training to junior staff on best practices.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical advancements.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Additional training in Family Medicine is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years working in a general practice

• Advanced Life Support Certification
