Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Bloemfontein team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing various civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects that meet functional, aesthetic, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design processes for major infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate closely with clients to determine project requirements.
• Manage all phases of project life cycle from concept development to completion.
• Develop engineering solutions that meet functional and budgetary constraints.
• Utilize BIM and other modern technologies in project planning.
• Review and approve project proposals and design documents.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure project specifications are met.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders about project progress.
• Prepare project budgets and ensure financial targets are achieved.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in civil engineering projects

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• BIM (Building Information Modeling)

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Leadership

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Traffic Engineering: Familiarity with traffic engineering principles and roadway design.
• Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS): Ability to analyze and interpret data using GIS technology.
