Job Description

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Project Manager to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will oversee various projects from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project requirements, develop detailed project plans, and manage resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and ensure adherence to defined processes.
• Coordinate collaboration across cross-functional teams to drive project success.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
• Monitor project performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
• Implement project management best practices and promote continuous improvement.
• Engage in stakeholder management to communicate project goals and changes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Analyze project outcomes for leveraging learnings in future initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field
• PMP or similar certification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in project management

Technical Skills

• Project Management Software (e.g. MS Project, Jira)
• MS Office Suite

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with Agile methodologies: Familiarity with Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.
