Project Manager

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Project Manager to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will oversee various projects from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project requirements, develop detailed project plans, and manage resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
• Manage project budget, resources, and timelines effectively.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure quality assurance throughout project lifecycle.
• Lead project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise and offer solutions.
• Facilitate training and onboarding for new team members.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field
• PMP or similar certification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in project management

• Project Management Software (e.g. MS Project, Jira)
• MS Office Suite
