Investment Banking Analyst

Job Description

As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will play a key role in executing various financial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, raising capital, and providing strategic advisory services. You will collaborate with senior bankers and work on financial modelling, market research, and presentation preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of M&A transactions and financing activities.
• Conduct financial valuation analysis using various methodologies including DCF and comparable companies.
• Prepare detailed financial models.
• Support client presentations and investment memorandums.
• Conduct market research on industry trends and competitor analysis.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Perform due diligence for prospective transactions.
• Help maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new business opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years in investment banking or corporate finance roles
