Responsibilities

  • Support pharmacists in medication preparation and prescription processing.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory control, ensuring medications are stored appropriately.
  • Engage with patients to provide information about medications and pharmacy services.
  • Document and maintain quality assurance records for pharmacy operations.
  • Participate in pharmacy team meetings to discuss operational improvements.
  • Handle cash register and manage pharmacy transactions.
  • Assist in training junior technicians and pharmacy interns.
  • Stay updated on pharmacy regulations and new medications.

Requirements

Education
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Pharmacy Technician qualification preferred
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role.
