Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Rubber Mold Maker to join our dedicated production team. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and fabricating high-quality molds used in the rubber production process, ensuring that all molds meet stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate molds for various rubber products.
• Inspect molds for quality assurance before production.
• Liaise with the quality control team to ensure compliance with standards.
• Utilize hand tools and CNC machinery proficiently.
• Implement improvements in mold-making processes for efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of mold specifications and repairs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
• Assist in training junior mold makers as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times.
• Conduct research to stay updated on new mold-making technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant technical qualification

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically with rubber molding.

Technical Skills

• Mold repair techniques
• Quality control standards knowledge

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles: Experience in implementing lean principles in mold production.
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards: Knowledge of ISO standards relevant to manufacturing and quality assurance.
