DevOps Engineer

Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer in our Johannesburg office, you will play a key role in the management and optimization of our cloud environments. You'll work closely with various teams to design and implement scalable solutions and best practices in cloud-based development.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with development teams to automate operations and enhance workflows.
• Implement infrastructure as code practices using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Maintain system security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in architecture planning and design discussions for cloud solutions.
• Engage in problem-solving to improve deployment processes and system resilience.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal infrastructure performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Professional certifications in DevOps or cloud computing are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role
