Job Description

As a Certified Intraoperative Neurophysiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in monitoring and analyzing a patient's nervous system during surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and the preservation of neurological function. You will be an integral part of the surgical team, working closely with surgeons and anesthetists to facilitate successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor electrical activity in the brain during surgeries.
• Assist in electrode placement on patients.
• Interpret and analyze data obtained during procedures.
• Communicate findings effectively to the surgical team.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and troubleshoot any issues.
• Support the development of best practices in intraoperative monitoring.
• Engage in continuous education and training in the field.
• Conduct research on advancements in neurophysiology technology.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Neurology, Physiology, or Biomedical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• Experience in monitoring a variety of surgical procedures
