Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Packaging and Filling Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining packing and filling machinery, ensuring efficient production processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of machinery to ensure proper operation.
• Document any malfunctions or needed repairs for reporting.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to manage loading processes.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
• Participate in regular training sessions on machinery and safety protocols.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

Experience

• Experience with conveyors and railroad loading systems is preferred.
