Security Engineer

Job Description

CyberRisk Solutions is looking for a Security Engineer who will be responsible for developing security protocols, conducting tests on systems to find vulnerabilities, and advising on security best practices to enhance our security posture.

Responsibilities

• Investigate security alerts and breaches, and fix vulnerabilities.
• Design and deploy security architecture for networks and systems.
• Engage in penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate incident response and disaster recovery efforts.
• Advise on security improvements and compliance with policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity field

• Security Frameworks
• Compliance Standards

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in security operations centers (SOCs): Previous role in a security operations environment.
