Responsibilities

• Examine dental structures and diagnose conditions.
• Perform surgical procedures as necessary.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.

• Participate in community outreach programs to promote oral health.
• Train and mentor junior dental staff.
• Continuously enhance skills through education and training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Oral surgery

• CPR Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
