Job Description

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure, optimizing system performance, and ensuring our services remain highly available and performant for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in proactive monitoring and system diagnostics.
  • Lead the automation of infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Collaborate with product owners to define system requirements.
  • Perform system performance analysis and optimization.
  • Develop automated tests for infrastructure reliability.
  • Create and enforce best practices for system operations.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Train team members on operational excellence.
  • Keep abreast of the latest technologies and trends in site reliability.
  • Serve as a technical advisor for incident resolution.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in site reliability or systems engineering
Technical Skills
  • Linux Systems Administration
  • Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Monitoring Tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Scripting (Python, Bash)
  • Docker and Kubernetes
