Job Description

As a Financial Analyst based in Johannesburg, you will be instrumental in providing financial insights and analysis that drive strategic decisions. You will assess financial data, prepare reports, and support financial forecasting to help the company achieve its financial goals. This role requires keen analytical skills and the ability to communicate insights effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of financial analysis and reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial forecasting and budgeting models.
• Perform variance analysis to explain differences between actuals and forecasts.
• Work with department heads to align budgets and financial planning.
• Present financial insights to senior management.
• Support compliance audits and prepare necessary documentation.
• Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvements.
• Research market trends to enhance financial forecasts.
• Contribute to the strategic financial planning process.
• Assist in developing financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• CFA or CPA certification would be advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a financial analysis role with budgeting experience
