Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Drawing Kiln Supervisor to manage our kiln operations effectively. Your expertise will guide the team in producing drawings while optimizing kiln performance and addressing any operational challenges that arise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational efficiency of drawing kilns, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the kiln equipment.
• Adjust kiln settings based on specific drawing techniques to achieve desired quality.
• Direct and train a team of kiln operators, ensuring compliance with safety and quality practices.
• Monitor production schedules and liaise with relevant departments for a smooth workflow.
• Implement best practices for kiln operation to enhance productivity.
• Perform data entry related to kiln operations and production metrics.
• Facilitate team meetings to discuss production quotas and operational challenges.
• Develop and implement training materials for new kiln operators.
• Assist in creating efficiency reports based on kiln performance data.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant diploma or certificate in manufacturing or technical field
• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years supervisory experience in a similar environment
